Join us for our final game watch at JL Sullivan's to watch the Buckeyes take on Texas in the Fiesta Bowl. Fellow Buckeyes, we are looking for 8-10 Volunteers to join us on Saturday, March 28that 10 am at Cooper University Hospital. Our time will be spent visiting with the children in the Hospital for about 2 hours. The children’s ages will vary, activities could include reading books, playing games, doing crafts, or just holding a baby that needs a Buckeye Touch. Cooper does limit groups to 10 volunteers at a time. So please let our VP of Activities and Programming, Steve Yackin, know if you are able to help or if you have any questions.

Come Cheer the Mens Basketball Team in the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament, On November 19 and 20th in Madison Square Garden. Convenient travel via the train from the Philadelphia area. The Buckeyes will take on North Carolina on November 19th, the game is scheduled to begin approximately at 9:00pm. They will play again on Friday, the opponent and time will be determined by the outcome of the other game (Syracuse vs. Cal). The teams that lose will play Friday at 5:00pm and the winners from Thursday will play Friday at approximately 7:30pm. Our ticket option is located in the lower level of MSG. For $50 ($100 for both days), you can sit in the “Buckeye Section” expected to be sections 56 -61). Tickets will be available at the "WILL CALL" window at MSG. A service fee of $4 will be added to each ticket. Each ticket is good for both games played on that day.
The $25 ticket is no longer available through the Club. If interested in a different location (other than the Buckeye section) or a different price level, check with ticketmaster.

Join us for the 5th Annual Big Ten Holiday Party benefiting Toys for Tots! As in previous years, we will be collecting toys to donate to children through the Toys for Tots program. Meet and Greet with Local Marines and other Big Ten Alums while making the difference in the life of a child through the USMC Toys for Tots Program.
In the past, this event has been very successful with many gifts donated as well as a large attendance of alumni and friends of the Big Ten schools.

Buckeyes Schedule 2010 Season Opener for Thursday Evening Kickoff From OSU Press Release
The 2010 season football opener between Ohio State and Marshall will be Thursday evening, Sept. 2 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus. Kickoff time and television plans will be announced at a later date.

Bring your sweetie and come out and see the DangerBrothers in concert on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth, Ohio at 7:30 pm. Doc Rock and the Remedies will warm up the crowd in the lobby from 5 - 7:15. Proceeds from the concert will help benefit the OSU Alumni Club of Scioto County's scholarship fund. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at the McKinley Box Office at 740-351-3600 or through ticketmaster. Don't miss this first time ever performance by the Danger Brothers in Portsmouth. Philabundance works to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by acquiring food and distributing it through organizations serving people in need.
We will be raffling of a limited number of tickets (at least 5 pairs) to the 14th ranked Miami (Fl) Hurricanes at the #2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes on September 11th at 3:40pm. This will be the 1st time the 2 teams have met since the Buckeyes beat the heavily favored ‘Canes in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl for the National Championship.
The cost of the raffle is $148 (the cost of 2 tickets), only the winners will need to pay.
The Rules for Participation are:
1. Participants must be Members of the OSU Alumni Association (the group in Columbus)
2. Participant’s membership in the Philly Buckeyes must be paid through August 2011.
